RRB NTPC Exam 2024 Selection Process:
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)
1. Exam Mode: Online
2. Duration: 90 minutes
3. Questions: 100 (General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics)
4. Qualifying Marks: 40% for UR, 30% for OBC/SC/ST
Stage 2: Computer-Based Test (CBT-2)
1. Exam Mode: Online
2. Duration: 90 minutes
3. Questions: 120 (General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics)
4. Qualifying Marks: 40% for UR, 30% for OBC/SC/ST
Stage 3: Typing Skill Test (TST)
1. Exam Mode: Online
2. Duration: 10 minutes
3. Language: English/Hindi
4. Speed: 30 words per minute (English), 25 words per minute (Hindi)
Stage 4: Document Verification (DV)
1. Verification: Candidates will be called for document verification.
2. Documents: Candidates must bring original documents and photocopies.
Stage 5: Medical Examination
1. Medical Test: Candidates will be called for medical examination.
2. Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit for the post.
Final Selection
1. Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on CBT 2 scores.
2. Normalization: Scores will be normalized to ensure fairness.
3. Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their merit rank.
